This is a deck of playing cards! No...not the ones with hearts and spades, but a deck for playful inspiration!
Each deck comes in a sturdy plastic, latching box.
There are 50 playing cards total (plus a meet the author/meet the artist!)
25 are informative cards - cards that remind you just how powerful, pleasurable, patient, provoking, and precious play is. Each of these has important information about the nature of play in addition to a prompt!
There are also 25 "permission" cards, where I give you official, professional, therapist permission to go play -- along with an idea of what to do.
They make great gifts for parents and teachers, and great reminders for all of us wanting to connect a little more with the kids in our lives.
