My creative and exuberant style of therapy and speaking has been the catalyst for thousands of parents over the past few decades to find joy in the places their kids take them.
As a grown unschooler I got my start working with families at the ripe old age of 11 as I began speaking at parenting conferences. I pursued degrees in Recreation and Leisure and Counseling where I conducted the largest study on grown homeschoolers to date.
My own personal experience as a “loss mom” and as a homeschooling parent has been a huge motivator behind my professional work. With my unconventional background, my lifetime interest in parenting, and my own visceral understanding of how time isn’t a guarantee - I have made it my life’s purpose to help other parents do what’s best for their family no matter what the cultural norm tells you you’re “supposed” to do.
I provide creativity, community, and connection for families who don't quite fit the mold.
